A hands-on career - school internships and taster days at Bissinger Medizintechnik

  • Category: News

How is a surgical instrument actually made? What steps does it take to turn metal into a precise tool for the operating theatre? Interested pupils can find answers to these questions at Günter Bissinger Medizintechnik GmbH as part of school internships and one-day taster days - with a direct focus on the job description of a surgical mechanic.

In individual appointments, young people have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the day-to-day work and take a look at the workshops themselves. They gain exciting insights into the processing of stainless steel, the handling of machines and tools and the high quality requirements in medical technology.

The last taster day took place around the 2025 Easter holidays and offered interested pupils the chance to gain their first practical experience. The next event is planned for the autumn holidays in October 2025.

If you are interested in technology, craftsmanship and the manufacture of products with real medical benefits, you have come to the right place. You can register via praktikumswoche.com or directly with our training team.

We look forward to welcoming curious young talents who would like to discover the profession of surgical mechanic!
